The nonprofit Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California, is an Association of Zoos and Aquariums-accredited facility and home to more than 12,000 animals. Our animals receive top-quality care, which includes their food. Piscine Energetics History

  • In the late 1960’s Mysis shrimp (a small zooplankton) was introduced by government authorities to Freshwater lakes in British Columbia to provide nutritious forage for native fish stocks.

  • Piscine Energetics® transforms invasive Mysis shrimp into sustainable fish food; thereby simultaneously rehabilitating the native fish stocks in Lake Okanagan.
  • PE Mysis is used by home aquarium hobbyist, aquaculture, zoological institutions & public aquaria worldwide.
